After spending a day in the Big Sur, I arrived to Los Angeles, the traffic is very mad it took a while to get into the city. In this occasion, the place where I was staying had a very good service and the staff very helpful, the room had everything I needed, a small fridge, air conditioning very important in this area and a clean bathroom. To say that in general the place was very comfortable, I decided to spend two days in Los Angeles. The first day of my stay I went to the “Hall of Fame” I took some pictures of some of the famous actors, actresses and singers stars after I went to walk around, actually in my opinion it is not as glamourous as I expected. It took one hour an a half to walk around the “Hall of fame”, I took the car, and I went up the mountain where it says Hollywood just to put myself on a picture. After that, I decide to drive to Rodeo Drive, this glamorous street and its amazing cars. I walked in Belair and in Melrose place, in the afternoon, I went up to Santa Monica, famous for their beaches.
My last trip has been in the West Coast of United States, the trip started in San Francisco, I was sleeping in ORANGE VILLAGE HOSTEL (very well located). I visited the Paired Houses, the Opera, the impressive Golden Gate, Pier 14?? And I also spend one day in Sausalito, I´d also like to talk about Alcatraz prison, actually when I try to take the tickets was not possible because there were sold out. About the prices, I have to say it is quite expensive, the transport in general, I decide to take a ticket for 3 days during my stay in San Francisco. The price was 31 $ (2016)
One of the best ways to go from Monterey to Los Angeles is for the coast called Big Sur, this part of 140 kms it is amazing with some cliffs and curvy roads ,wonderful to enjoy stopping in the places to see the landscape and the colour of the sea, actually when I went it was August, there was some fires around, how can be induced for people? I was also surprised when I realised there where some posters encouraging and congratulating the firefighters.
