I went to Menorca in 2013 the second island of the Balears (Spain), I was surprised for the beaches, I knew would be nice, because I had already been in Mallorca (the biggest island), in this occasion I went a few days to disconnect a little bit, and in fact I did, it was at the beginning of November and even like that I could have a bath even the water was cold, I recommend if you go to Menorca to hire a car because it is easier to move in the island, some of their small beaches (cales) have difficult access so you have to go walk but believe is worth it.
The fageda d’en Jordà is a natural reserve comprising a beech forest of unique characteristics in Catalonia, as it grows on a relatively flat terrain, formed by a cooled lava flow from the Croscat volcano.
This place is famous in Catalonia because the poet Joan Maragall wrote a well-known poem in his honor.
