Banteay Srei-Cambodia

I went to the temple of Banteay Srei in 2014 this is a Cambodian temple from the X century and is dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva. Is located in the Ankor area of Cambodia, and it is built mainly of red sandstone with elaborate carvings on the walls.

      1. I live in Hong Kong. Next time when you are in this part of Asia please be our guest. Cambodia Thailand Laos Vietnam Singapore Malausia is all near by location from here and i like these pictures you posted of Shiva temple. Still there is a strong vibrant culture of Hindu Mythology blended with local traditions. These all temples were built by Indian Royals who ruled Cambodia way back a decade century plus. History is always open door to the beautiful architecture skills of our old generations. Did you ever thought how did they built such huge stone sculptures when there was no machines and equipment for constructions and only hand made and manual efforts. AMAZING talents is only response that comes front of my eyes. Thank you for showing detailed pictures. I simply loved them all. ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰
