When I told to my friends I was going to Las Vegas, I got two different opinions, some of them loved it and the others were completely the opposite, they hated it. So I decided to take my own conclusions.
I knew would be hot, with many casinos and probably crowded. So I have to say I wasn´t expecting a lot. I wasn’t very optimistic.
It is true that after spending a few days in California, Arizona I was getting used to the hot weather, and what to say normally I stand it very well.
Despite my low expectations, I was gratefully surprise when I found out the city was amazing. When I made the booking of the hotel, I decided to stay in Bellagio Hotel because of the location and for the water fountains show. There was entertainment everywhere. Even it was hot out in the street you could be walking by the corridors inside the buildings with the air conditioning. So you could find a lot of shows and the incredible decoration inside the hotels. I really enjoy my stay in Las Vegas. I loved it, I loved it all.
I started the Route 66 from Kingman, direction to Williams. My plan was taking a very short part of the route, passing through Hackberry, Valentine, Tuxton, Peach Spring and once there take the I-40 in Seligman. I was completely alone in the road, even I could see some Harleys from time to time, I really enjoy the loneliness and the long trains.
Begur, it is located in Costa Brava, it has wonderful beach and it is beautiful, this photo was taken in January, that is why is so calmed, normally it is crowded during the spring and summer time. These day was also grey, but it gets very nice with the sun.
One of the best ways to go from Monterey to Los Angeles is for the coast called Big Sur, this part of 140 kms it is amazing with some cliffs and curvy roads ,wonderful to enjoy stopping in the places to see the landscape and the colour of the sea, actually when I went it was August, there was some fires around, how can be induced for people? I was also surprised when I realised there where some posters encouraging and congratulating the firefighters.
